In the vineyard, tradition holds firm. The Johnson-Hills keep strongly to the belief that the best wine growing is accomplished by traditional agriculture.
Even chemical fertilisers are excluded from this vineyard - a herd of cows are kept at the property solely to produce manure for the nearly 100 acres of vines, as has been done over the centuries.
